Am I suitable for a Geneo X treatment?
Geneo X treatments are available to all clients over the age of 18. Each treatment will be tailored to your specific skin concerns with one of the 6 different OxyPod types. For more information on our OxyPods, please check our Blog “Which Geneo X OxyPod is right for you?”
There are a small number of very limited contraindications for specific medical conditions which will be considered as part of your initial consultation. If you have any medical concerns, you can also contact us prior to booking to discuss.
How many treatments will I require?
Although you will see results after one treatment, we recommend an initial course of 6 treatments, space approximately a week apart and then monthly treatments to maintain your results.
Is there any downtime involved?
One of the best aspects of the Geneo X treatment is that it does not require any recovery time. You can return home or go to work right after the treatment. If you are attending a special function, you can go to the venue directly after a Geneo X treatment, looking fresh and bright as ever.
How long will the results last?
As the procedure works from within by using your body’s natural healing process, the result and its longevity can vary depending on your health and skin type. Combining the treatments with a good at home skin regime will enhance results and longevity of the treatment.
What pre-treatment and aftercare is recommended?
- Do not exfoliate at least two weeks pre & post to your appointment.
- Do not have any laser treatment for two weeks pre & post to your appointment.
- Do not have any heat treatments (sauna, steam room) or partake in any strenuous activity that will cause you to sweat for 24 hours.
- Do wear sun protection for at least 24-hours after your treatment (Our skin experts recommend you wear sun protection everyday anyway)
